Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.

Assist the Product Director covering AeJ on product development and management initiatives and support the continued growth and expansion in the region. Develop business cases and proposals on APAC product and pricing initiatives with the relevant Product teams; coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain senior management and Product Strategy Committee approvals where necessary. Based on market analysis, assist in the research and discussions on the local marketability of new strategies or modifications of existing strategies to ensure the products have the right attributes to win in the market and are aligned with the firm’s core value and strategic priorities.

APAC Fund Registration and Maintenance. Assist in continuously registering the vehicles in the region to ensure that the local business has a diversified and sustainable product set for meeting the long-term growth ambitions in different channels. Work with Distribution to identify and prioritize local fund registration needs across the region, with a focus on Singapore and South Korea. Assist in the initial registration and on-going maintenance of Luxembourg domiciled funds. Monitor product changes and regulatory developments, research and analyze potential impact on local registrations.

General Product and Business Support. Act as the local SME on product range, as well as general market trends and competitive landscape in AeJ. Assist in the assessment of product needs and requirements for new market entry.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with around 5 to 10 years relevant experience in asset management. Sound analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative. Strong ability to work collaboratively across functions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills. Understanding of operational infrastructure related to commingled funds especially SICAVs. Understanding of the investment / regulatory environment in Asia with a focus on Singapore, South Korea, and other South East Asia countries
