BUSINESS MANAGER/ PROJECT MANAGER with Finance Background

  • Commercial Sector with previous Big 4 Experience is preferred

Our client is a leading high precision metal fabrication business and in this group-level position, you will assist the Director of Finance in implementing projects & initiatives across various subsidiaries and business, focusing on financial and management reporting, compliance & regulatory affairs, tax & company secretarial functions, and operational efficiency. A resilient, proactive and responsible individual who is agile, values open communication, and can successfully lead projects from inception to completion is required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate best practices sharing and standardization of processes related to the Finance Functions (i.e. reporting, tax, company secretarial, compliance & regulatory) across the group to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes across subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with the overall financial goals of the group.
  • Support ad hoc projects, including but not limited tax and legal matters, that align with group objectives, ensuring effective execution within established timelines.
  • Execute investment decisions made by the Chairman occasionally, which encompass trading equities in both Hong Kong and overseas markets, and managing time deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements across all subsidiaries

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience within Commercial Sector together with previous Big Four accounting firm covering financial & management reporting /corporate tax / M&A, demonstrating proven career progression
  • Professional certification (CPA) is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in both written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
