FINANCE MANAGER - FOOD & BEVERAGE INDUSTRY

A critical execution role within a lean market finance team. You will support the full financial management cycle in your assigned market, from month-end close and variance reporting to budgeting, compliance, and business partnering. Ideal for a driven finance professional ready to step into a high-accountability, commercially meaningful role within a rapidly growing global brand.
Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering
- Serve as the on-ground finance partner for Market GMs and operations teams
- Provide store-level insights: pricing, cost management, store performance analysis
- Partner with procurement and operations on product costing
- Liaise with POS/ERP teams to ensure data accuracy
2. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
- Leverage on shared service team to ensure timely and accurate monthly close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, inventory counts
- Produce management reports including Sales report, P&L, variance analysis, and commentary
- Ensure data integrity across NetSuite / ERP and maintain audit-ready records
- Prepare and update market-level KPI dashboards (traffic, basket size, labour %, COGS %)
3. Budgeting & Forecasting Support
- Assist in annual budget and monthly re-forecast for the market
- Maintain and update FP&A models and templates
- Track actuals vs. budget and prepare monthly variance commentary
- Support GMs with budget inputs and financial simulations
4. Controllership & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial control standards
- Manage AP/AR, intercompany transactions, and vendor reconciliations
- Assist with statutory filings: tax returns, GST/VAT, audit schedules
- Prepare local statutory reports and audit schedules
5. Systems & Data Integrity
- Support implementation of new tools and reporting standards
- Act as primary liaison with local operations and external auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting or Business; CPA / CA/ ACCA preferred
- 7+ years of finance experience; minimum 3-4 years in a dual FP&A + financial reporting or multi-hat finance role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, HKIRD, IRAS, and transfer pricing requirements
- Proven track record as a commercially oriented business partner
- F&B, retail, or consumer multi-unit business experience preferred
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, Power BI; Anaplan is a plus
- Bilingual English and Mandarin/Cantonese advantageous
