Our client is a well-established insurance company with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

  • Conduct comprehensive research in Hong Kong SAR and onshore China Technology and Internet; the corresponding listed companies (including A and H shares and ADR), analysing financial statements, business fundamentals, and competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate company management, corporate governance practices, and strategic initiatives to assess long-term growth potential.
  • Develop and maintain industry databases, peer comparison as well as individual financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation metrics. Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact on investment outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed research reports highlighting the key research findings, investment thesis, financial forecasts, and valuation as well as key catalysts and risks.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence by engaging with company management and various stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Participate in company briefings, industry events, roadshows, and sell-side conferences to enhance comprehension and insights into publicly traded entities.
  • Collaborate with other team members and management team to generate comprehensive investment recommendations and portfolio strategies.

To be considered, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in sell-side research with large financial institutions. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data. Proficient in financial modelling. Willing to travel for on-site company visits, industry conferences, and research trips as required. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
