Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.
Manage the equity franchise in Asia and provide functional oversight of the equity desks in the region. Co-ordinate and direct equity research activities both fundamental and quantitative research. Coordinate and direct the management of equity resources and infrastructure consistent with the primary value proposition of local knowledge reflected in the regional mandates. Provide effective support and communications within the region. Fulfill responsibilities of a ‘Responsible Officer’ under Hong Kong SFC Code. Provide oversight on equity investment for territory investment offices. Recommend appropriate investment strategies with respect to on-balance sheet asset allocation policies. Implement refinements to the disciplined equity investment process, consistent with the main value proposition.
To be considered, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 15 years of years of investment management experience with strong knowledge of Asia Pacific equity and capital market. Ability to make sound investment decisions based on relevant market conditions and client investment objectives. Demonstrated success and track record with acceptable volatility in portfolio performance in a high risk environment. Excellent communication and management skills.
