Our client is an international asset management firm with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them.
Responsible for overseeing the Operations Team to assist with the building out of new products and services include designing policies, overseeing customer service, overseeing outsourcing providers, and implementing technology solutions. Day to day operations including client onboarding and Transfer Agent Operations functions, service providers oversight. Oversee outsourcing providers daily SLA, incidents, corrective and preventive actions. Understand and adapt existing Operational processes and technologies to be efficient and fully compliant with Hong Kong and global regulatory requirements. Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts. Work with the compliance team to ensure regulatory guidelines and processes are followed relating to AML/KYC etc. during the onboarding process. Ownership of operational objectives, SLA’s and KPIs etc.
To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 12 years of experience working within the financial services sector and operations teams. Understanding and knowledge of Transfer Agent operations. Experience in new product launch, retails and distribution of retail funds, outsourcing oversight. Good experience in collaborating the different business functions. Knowledge of the Hong Kong and Luxembourg regulatory environment, familiarity with anti-money laundering and know-your-customer best practices.
